She rolled over!!

That's right! My girl rolled over for the first time yesterday. From her back onto her stomach! What a big girl. She made mama and papa so proud. I actually didn't witness the rollover. I was in the kitchen and heard a big grunt, so I went into the living room to check on her and she had rolled over! When I picked her up and was praising her for her accomplishment, she was looking at me like "what in the world just happened?!?"

She has been growing up so much this past week. I had her cracking up yesterday. I was kissing her little tummy, and she was just cracking up! It was adorable. What a perfect little angel.

I keep saying that I don't want her to grow up. That I want her to stay just the way she is now because she is so adorable. But the more she does grow up and change, the more I fall in love with her. So really, I look forward to the future. Seeing her grow and mature into a beautiful, loving, wise, strong and mighty woman of God. I look forward to knowing her more deeply than I know her now. Lord willing, I will be blessed to see her as a mommy one day. I think about that a lot. Having a baby makes you think about a lot of things a lot.

Anyway, I will stop typing now...I have a lot of staring at Gracie while she sleeps that I need to do. :O)

My La La

Two days ago (May 30th) marked a year since we first found out we were pregnant with Gracie. My my how a year can change things.

Yesterday she laughed for the first time. I was kissing her belly, and she started to laugh. So cute.

This morning she spit up on me twice when I was getting ready for work, and then grabbed her feet for the first time. It was an adventurous and monumental morning.

She is such an amazing baby. Jonni always says "she's perfect" and, you know, I really think she is. And I'm not just saying that becuase I'm her mom, but I really think she is perfect! :O)

I am starting to notice that she loves other little children, moreso than other adults. Whenever she is around Ally or any other little ones, her eyes light up and she starts smiling and talking. It is so adorable.
